Shaping Interactive Experiences
Grant Cahill’s story begins in a small village in Scotland, where he was born and spent his early childhood. After moving to California, he developed a deep interest in both art and technology, spending his time drawing characters, building simple games, and sharing them with friends.
That combination of creativity and technical curiosity continued at the University of Colorado, where he built games, explored computer graphics, and developed a passion for creating interactive experiences. His work ranged from early game prototypes to animated sequences, including a thesis focused on merging complex animation sequences.
After beginning his career as a software engineer, Grant discovered product management and immediately felt it brought together everything he cared about. It was a turning point that led him to move from engineering into product, where he could focus on shaping not just how systems work, but how people experience them.
Today, Grant is a product leader shaping systems across gaming and entertainment, focused on how people connect, engage, and experience shared worlds. His goal is to create products that bring joy to people and deliver experiences that matter.
At his core, he is still driven by the same curiosity and creative energy that started it all, along with a belief that great experiences have the power to bring people joy and create moments that truly matter.
