Airplane Composite Parts 3D Viewer

3D viewing application licenses are expensive and require a lot of computing power and when you have a large workforce working extremely hard to launch a brand new plane then time and ease of use are of paramount importance. This is what I was asked to solve when I was approached to support the product development arm of new airplane development. This application needed to be cost effective, available to the entire workforce (working on this particular plane), and easy to use. The result was a 3D web viewer that contained custom processing in order to display the geometry of the airplane. It was built in WebGL with the sole purpose of providing easy to use controls and visualization of airplane geometry.
